Trust

I know there are plenty of goodhearted people in this world.

But I know the streets are filled with heartless ones too.

It can be difficult to pin point them out though. You try and go with your gut feeling. But sometimes that’s not even accurate. It’s usually when you are getting to know them when you can decipher their true intentions.

I really try my best to see the good in everyone. But, one wrong move on their part, and I think twice.

I find trust to be extremely crucial. Without trust, you have nothing. I want to be able to trust my family, my friends, my acquaintances, my neighbors – everyone. But, in this thing we call Life…it’s not one hundred percent possible.

I want everyone to trust me, so how do I make that work? I keep my word – my promises – your secrets. If you are having a bad day, I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure I turn that frown upside down! I will not only do my best to make you smile or make you laugh, but I will give you my best advice so you can find relief.

The one thing that ticks me off – and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one in this universe – is if I help you (in any shape or form) and you take advantage of me. Don’t treat me like the dirt from under your shoe. I refuse to bend over backwards for you if I’m not being appreciated.

And, do not test me. I may give you the benefit of the doubt at first. But, if you are playing games with me, I will know.

Congratulations, you have lost my trust. But not only have you lost my trust, you also lost any relationship we’ve ever had.

I will not work with you again, I will not lend you a hand in any way, and I will turn the other cheek.

Is that considered a heartless person?

Possibly.

But you deserve it. You brought it upon yourself – and I do not have one ounce of respect for you anymore.

  1. you deserve everything in return that you give to others. And I value, thank you and respect our friendship. Keep writing!
